We cater for groups from 1 to 350 plus and they're typically a hungry lot who enjoy great meals. with two commercial kitchens and a smaller group kitchen you will enjoy preparing nutritious meals in our well-equipped facilities.
One of the best aspects of this role is the relaxed atmosphere, no early morning starts and the ability to be creative or just keep it simple.

We offer the ability to live on site and this is a great place to raise a family on our 55 hectares of our quiet back country property. We even have a heated and hot pool to enjoy or relax in after a hard day at work.
Rates of remuneration will be in line with your experience, but based on a casual contract. We tend to be very busy over the summer months and quieter during the winter. This position is ideal for anyone with their own motorhome or caravan, although we also have staff accommodation. There is also scope to assist in areas of property maintenance, development and repairs.

This role offers a better work life balance than most Chef roles with base salary and rostered off every second weekend. Hours are typically but not limited to 6:30am – 15:00pm or 10:30am - 19:00pm
The successful candidate will be part of a small and experienced kitchen team.
This position will be directly responsible to the Head Chef / Catering Manager.

Willow Park is a Christian hospitality ministry and views all staff appointments as ministry positions with the expectation that the incumbent will have a sense of call to their role at Willow Park.
Objectives of the Position
To ensure the effective and efficient operation of Willow Park’s food preparation function in accordance with the agreed standards of both the Head Chef and the Director.
This role services the catering hospitality needs and requirements to the following Groups:
- Christian Organisations including churches, para-church mission and non denominational groups. - Other organisations include Schools, Service Clubs, Business Groups, Travel Groups and other catering functions required. - Ideal applicant would be an advantage to have a minimum of 2 years relative cookery experience in a commercial kitchen.
Main Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:
- Preparation and Cooking of meals to a high and consistent quality and standard - Preparation and storing baking goods - Ordering stock when needed - General daily cleaning when needed - Meeting of general requests of the guests in the absence of the host - Receiving and packing of stock - Monitor and document and adhere to food safety guidelines set out by Chef
Candidate must be willing to undergo a hands on skills assessment, and also be willing to undergo a Health Screening Check at the Cost of the employer.
Own transport is a must.
